This Isaac Mizrahi Fall 1997 runway evening gown was part of Isaac Mizrahi's signature "tiny label" collection. This higher end portion of his collection was featured on the runway and the pieces were made with exceptional fabrics. These pieces had a black label with Isaac Mizrahi in gold lettering. These garments were much more expensive than his other pieces, which were already pretty expensive. This was a very limited collection and it is very hard to find them on the re-sale market. This incredible vintage evening dress is in a luxurious black fabric with mink fur trim around the neckline through the back, creating cap sleeves with the shape. The dress has a low, round neckline and was meant to fit very tightly through the bust. Mizrahi was a master at creating strapless and low cut gowns that created just the right silhouette. This isn't an easy skill and he did it so well! This dress closes with a center back zipper and hook and eye. We are showing an image of it on a model from the Fall 1997 runway show.
